8.3.1. Energy storage

There are two control modes for Energy storage, one is General and the other is Separate. By default, the system is General.

In General mode, the user only needs to set the total system power. If the input power is positive, the system will work in discharge mode. If the input power is negative, the system will work in charging mode.

Position

Designation

PCS control switch

PCS mode is divided into "General" mode and "Separate" mode.

General mode: In the current mode, only the total power of the system needs to be set, and the power settings of #1PCS and #2PCS can be automatically completed.

Separate mode: In the current mode, the power of 1#PCS and 2#PCS shall be set separately.

Control mode

Set the system power control mode. When it is set to "Constant power", it is also required to input the system power in "Active power"; When set to "Stop", the system shuts down.

Active power

Set value of system Active power. A positive number indicates system discharge and a negative number indicates system charging.

Reactive power

Set the power value of Reactive power. A positive number indicates inductive reactive power and a negative one, capacitive reactive power.

In Separate mode, users need to set the control mode and power of subsystems 1 # to 6 # separately. When the input power is positive, the system will operate in discharge mode; When the input power is negative, the system will operate in charging mode.

8.3.1.1. Time Control

Click the "Time Control" button in the lower right corner to enter the time control setting interface. Then set the BESS operation time period and Power in this page according to the application, and enable each time period and the total time period, the BESS will be operated according to this time period automatically.

NOTE

The system will automatically run according to the time period and setting value.

The lower left corner of the screen is the BMS parameter protection option. The parameter protection function can be turned on and off by switching options. "Setting Parameters" is set to "Unable", and relevant parameters cannot be modified.

When "Setting Parameters" is set to "Enable", it is allowed to modify relevant parameters, and the effective time is 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, it will automatically exit and start the parameter protection function.

As shown in the following figure, when clicking on the "Enable" button, a confirmation window pops up, and "Sure" is clicked to set the parameters.

As shown in the following figure, when the parameter setting mode switches to "Enable," click on the target parameter, pop up the numeric keypad, and modify the parameters by entering the numbers correctly. The keyboard shows the range of settings for the parameters, which are valid.

8.3.4. Balance

The balance setting interface allows the modification of the channel number, current size, balance time and startup voltage difference of active balance settings. The user can also select whether to perform automatic balance(Automatic) and prohibit balance(Prohibit) in the balance control mode. "Prohibit", "Force" and "Manual" are debugging modes. It is not recommended to modify these two modes during normal operation of the system.

Before modifying the Balance parameters, the user first needs to adjust the "Jurisdiction" to the "Enable" state. After modifying the parameters, the user needs to click the "Setting" button to take effect.

8.3.5. Insulation monitor
