5.2 Remove baffle plates
Temporary protective measures must be installed in the PCS room during container transportation. Remove the temporary baffle after container installation. Baffles are located on three sides of the PCS room, as shown in Figure 5-1. Table 5-1 baffles' positions and numbers.
If the baffle plate is not removed, heat dissipation of PCS will be affected, resulting in overheating and device shutdown.

Remove the screws from the baffle plate and remove the baffle plate, as shown in Figure 5-2.

NOTICE
PCS protection grade is IP 66, which can work completely in the open air environment.

After the baffle plate is removed, the exposed fixed holes must be filled with anticorrosion materials to avoid affecting the service life of the system.
NOTICE
The screw holes fixing the baffle shall be treated with anti-corrosion. Make sure that each fixing hole is filled with anticorrosive material to avoid directexposure to air.

5.3 Open doors
In the transportation process of the energy storage system, all the door locks are added to prevent the door from being opened.

Do not open the door in bad weather such as rain, snow, lightning, sand and dust
Open the emergency stop button box and take out the door lock key

5.5 Grounding the System
Containers must be securely grounded to ensure personal safety. The container shell provides four ground points, as shown in Figure 5-6 (Two other grounding points hidden in the figure). After the container is secured to the foundation, connect a ground wire or weld the external ground galvanized flat steel to the ground point of the container shell, and take anti-corrosion measures according to the electrical standards.

When using the following two grounding methods, ensure that the grounding resistance is less than 1Ω.
Solution 1: Use ground wires for grounding

To install the system grounding pole, refer to the local national or local electrical standards.
5.6 Battery pack
NOTE
Part of the battery PACK may be removed during shipping and will need to be reinstalled when the device arrives at the installation site.
DANGER
Each battery PACK weighs about 305kG. Use professional loading and unloading tools to carry it.
NOTE
Please follow the operation specifications for special equipment during device handling.
Do not scratch the surface of the device or damage the components when moving the device.
When using a forklift, the forklift must be in the middle position to avoid tipping over. Before moving, please fasten the equipment to the forklift with ropes; When moving, a special person should take care of it.
Move equipment carefully to avoid collisions or falls.
Transport the battery PACK to the container, remove the packaging, and check the appearance of the device.

5.7 Battery cluster cables

To remove the end, pull it out and hold down the Lock button in the figure. When you plug in the terminal, you can hear a popping sound, which means it has been plugged in tightly and the connection is reliable.
When the joint is inserted tightly, there will be breaking sound, if the joint is not inserted tightly, there will be equipment damage!
The communication cable must be secured during installation. If you skip this step, the system may fail to communicate. The system communication interface is defined in section 3.1.1Battery pack.

5.8 Installing the Spare Battery of the Fire Controller
NOTE
The battery of the fire controller has been removed during transportation. Reinstall the battery after the device arrives at the installation site.
All cables are stored in cardboard boxes next to the liquid cooled air conditioner.

5.10 Fire hammer installation
NOTE
The fire hammer has been removed during transportation and needs to be reinstalled when the equipment arrives at the installation site.
The fire hammer is stored in the carton under battery cluster 2# (2BC) in the battery room. Please open the carton and take it out.
